The Stockman grandsons that round out this group are the product of turning out some of our best Stockman sons, both as cleanup sires and with a group of cows that were selected for them to breed, they fit right into a solid pen of bulls. Lot 44 comes from an old Full Bore daughter; and while her age probably does not help his numbers, we put a lot of faith in the fact that his sire was raised by a 13 yr old cow, his dam is 12, and his grandam was here to a similar age. Long Haul earned himself ratios of 107 WW and 110 YW in a big contemporary group, proving that an inch longer is in fact an inch heavier as one of my friends says. Even though he is incredibly long bodied and super sound, he earned his name based on his ranking in the top 5% of the breed for Stayability. He is going to sire plenty of growth in a set of steers, and if his daughters replicate the kind of fleshing ability and udder quality of his dam we expect them to be both good looking and long lasting.
