Brightview Eatontown Senior Living & The Chelsea at Fairlawn meet growing sector demands IMC Construction building two senior living facilities in Northern New Jersey T
he demand for senior living communities is growing throughout New Jersey. To meet the needs of this growing sector, IMC Construction is currently build- ing two senior living facilities, Brightview Eatontown Senior Living in Eatontown, NJ, and The Chelsea at Fairlawn in Fairlawn, NJ. These senior liv- ing communities will provide high-quality wellness facilities with unappareled amenities for the state’s senior community. Brightview Eatontown se- nior living is a new three-story independent and assisted liv- ing community for Brightview Senior Living. This 195,000 s/f community in Eatontown, NJ includes 177 independent living, assisted living, and memory care residences for seniors. The main entry level will include amenities such as: a full commercial kitchen, dining facilities, multi-purpose and fitness rooms, commercial laundry, and support spaces. Additional amenities include a small, vegetated roof and off- street parking. The welcome center is now open, and the com- munity is scheduled to be open to residents by summer 2023. The project team includes owner Brightview Senior Liv- ing; general contractor IMC Construction; architect Hord Coplan Macht; civil engineer Dynamic Engineering Consul- tants, PC; structural engineer Morabito Consultants, Inc., and MEP engineer Kibart, Inc. The Chelsea at Fairlawn, a joint venture between Tram- mell Crow Company and Chel- sea Senior Living, is a 100,000 s/f facility with 93 units. The three-story facility will fea- ture 26 independent living units and 67 assisted living and memory care units. The Chelsea at Fair Lawn will be the first senior living com- munity in Fair Lawn offering their residents best-in-class amenities such as 24-hour pro- fessional services, therapy pro- grams, weekly housekeeping, and a variety of daily activities and events. This project is scheduled to be completed by December 2022. The project team includes Trammell Crow Co.; Chelsea Senior Living; general contrac- tor IMC Construction; architect Douglas Coleman & Associates; civil engineer Stonefield Engi- neering; structural engineer O’Donnell & Naccarato, and MEP engineer Whitman.
