This is the study that shows that 53% of Ebola patients receiving Remdesivir died, which resulted in the drug being discontinued in the trial. That 53% death rate is higher than the death rate for Ebola.

In the largest trial to study the benefits of Remdesivir with treating Covid, no benefit was shown. However, the results from two Gilead-sponsored studies were used instead, even though Gilead is the manufacturing company that produces Remdesivir.
