Section 7 – Materials Storage and Deliveries

Delivery Arrangements:

All deliveries and collections will be co-ordinated with Genco Construction project team and planned in advance. JHC deliveries will adhere to the traffic management plan. All delivery vehicles will be stationary within the designated loading area. Our vehicles will be stationary, with the engines and lights turned off to minimise our carbon emissions, light pollution, and noise pollution. A suitable and sufficient exclusion zone(s) will be erected within the loading area during the materials transportation into the building. It’s foreseen that minimal pedestrians will be affected by our works, as all loading and unloading activities will be undertaken within an exclusive loading area, which is manned by a trained traffic marshal. The JHC team will display suitable and appropriate safety signage, making persons aware of any foreseeable hazards during these activities. Material storage will be kept to a minimum. JHC plant and equipment will be stored within the ground floor of the car park ensuring clear route(s) are maintained at all times. All materials will be stored within segregation, and not stood up against the walls, in preparation for the works.
