Operatives
Musculoskeletal injuries. Falling/ tripping

Mechanical equipment to be used where possible to eliminate manual handling.
Hiab’s / mechanical aids to be used for unloading and loading materials from the delivery trucks where possible.
Where mechanical equipment is not possible loads will be divided and reduced. The loads will be split into smaller, more manageable sizes for transportation.
All operatives to be trained in the correct techniques of manual handling.
Access and egress routes to be kept clear of obstructions at all times.
Hard hat, safety boots, high visibility vests and sufficient gloves to be worn at all times.
