Loading and unloading activities must occur within the designated loading bay
All deliveries will be planned/ booked in advance with the Genco Construction project team
Handrails to be fitted at a minimum distance of 950mm to all delivery vehicles, with no gap exceeding 470mm.
All operatives to wear fall arrest harness with lanyard at all times when on the rear of delivery vehicle without suitable edge protection. Access and egress to rear trailer will be via a fixed ladder which will be sufficiently secured. Three points of contact to be used at all times. Ladders will be visually inspected daily prior to use.
Hard hat, safety boots, high visibility vests and suitable gloves to be worn at all times.
Electricals / power tools
JHC will obtain evidence of isolation certificates before entering ceiling voids or electricals risers to undertake decorations works

JHC will use only 110v power tools. Battery power tools will be soured when practicable
All tools will be PA tested, and records kept within the JHC safety folder and head office for auditing purposes
Vibration assessments to be developed and operators to be briefed on maximum periods of time for using vibrating tools and HAVS.
