Directors Report 11.16.20

November 12, 2020

Jennifer Miranda, Executive Assistant to the Board Outdoor Resorts Palm Springs

Ms. Miranda and Members of the Board of Directors Thank you for allowing owners the opportunity to help shape the future of Outdoor Resorts Palm Springs via the ad hoc committee you have called for in your email of October 30, 2020. We owners have spent money and time over the last few years or more working to determine the best processes, people and projects to ensure we continue to be a “Premier” RV destination; I believe we have the tools now. I would like to be a part of that energy to help analyze ways in which to “operationalize” the survey results and current resources into organizational strategy going forward. If asked to serve on this committee, I would see my role as applying my skills in strategy, planning, entrepreneurship, customer satisfaction management to the extent needed. But, more importantly, I think I could serve as a short-term “get-the-job-done” type person along with all others and willingly turn over results to the professional managers and Board of Directors for consideration and possible implementation. My attached mini resume outlines some of my professional accomplishments and education. But I assure you all of the skills and attributes you listed were critical in order to have achieved such. Many of the skills listed I had to learn the hard way, but they were lessons well learned. I believe that playing off people’s strengths in an ad hoc committee situation makes for a balanced and effective team. Of special note is my ownership experience at another premier RV resort in Naples, Florida, as well as, having owned four lots in ORPS. All of which has helped to broaden my view on what it means to be a “lot” owner in a great place! Thank you for your consideration. Evon Haarklau
