Australian Human Rights Commission While it is rarely the case that a matter would escalate to this level, the AHRC accepts complaints about workplace bullying, harassment or discrimination covered by federal discrimination laws, including sex, disability, race and age discrimination. The AHRC also has specific complaint handling functions for complaints about discrimination based on irrelevant criminal record and religious belief discrimination in employment. The AHRC uses conciliation between parties to reach a resolution and again should the need arise to elevate to this level. Training and Awareness Services The Tasmanian Hospitality Association (THA) is pleased to communicate the partnership in place with the Tasmanian based Respect at Work Services and supports the training and awareness services provided by this reputable body.
