Ian Workman is the MD of new bank Recognise. Until 1st December 2021, he was the Managing Director, Head SME Barclays Business Banking in the UK. At Barclays, he worked with over 1 million business customers and 1,000 Relationship Managers but began his time at the bank over 30 years ago as a teenager in a small branch in West Wales.
