BYLAWS A Special Resident Member moving his or her principal residence outside the State of Colorado may, upon giving written notice to the Secretary, request to become a Non- Resident Member with the approval of the Board of Directors. If a Special Resident Member who has elected to become a Non-Resident Member shall thereafter move his or her principal residence within the State of Colorado, he or she shall immediately notify the Secretary requesting transfer to the class of membership to which he or she would then belong. Such transfer is subject to availability in the applicable category, payment of any remaining unpaid Special Resident initiation fee and all assessments which may have been levied during the interval of time that such Member was in Non-Resident Membership status, and approval by the Board of Directors. Section 8. Resident Emeritus Members. Any Resident Member who has attained the age of 75 and who has been and remains a Member in good standing for a continuous period of 20 years may, with the approval of the Board of Directors and subject to the limit of the category, elect to become a Resident Emeritus Member. The dues for Resident Emeritus Members shall be 60% of the Resident Member rate for so long as the Resident Emeritus Membership category continues to exist. Members eligible to elect Resident Emeritus Member status may do so at any time provided they satisfy the conditions for the Resident Emeritus category and so long as the category continues to exist. Any Resident Emeritus Member may, with the approval of the Board of Directors, elect to become a Resident Non-Participating Member. Resident Emeritus Members shall not be subject to any assessments and shall not be eligible to vote. Resident Emeritus Members may be subject to such restrictions on the use of the Club’s golf facilities as set forth in the Ground Rules or as may be determined by the Board of Directors. Section 9. Non-Participating Members. (a) Non-Participating Resident Member. Any Resident, Resident Emeritus, or Non- Resident Member shall, with the approval of the Board of Directors, become eligible to become a Non-Participating Resident Member. Non-Participating Resident Members shall be entitled to all of the rights and privileges which are accorded by the Bylaws to Resident Members, except such Members shall not be subject to any assessments, shall have no right to vote, and shall have no right to use the golf facilities of the Club. The dues for Non-Participating Resident Members shall be 40% of the Resident Member rate for so long as the Non- Participating Resident Membership category continues to exist.
