BYLAWS If such Member, after being placed on probation, fails or refuses to change or correct his or her conduct, the Executive Committee may then, in its sole discretion, proceed against the Member to be reprimanded, suspended, or expelled from the Club, as provided for in Subsections (a) through (f) of this Section. Section 17. Accounts and Indebtedness . On the first day of each month, or as soon thereafter as practicable, a statement of the amount of indebtedness (dues and account) shall be sent to each Member. The statement is due upon receipt, and shall be considered late if payment in full is not received prior to the first day of the following month. If such statement is not paid in full by the tenth day of the month following the issuance of the statement, the name of the Member and the amount of his or her indebtedness shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the Clubhouse, provided, however, that no such posting shall be made until at least 40 days have elapsed after the date upon which such statement was sent. Simultaneously with the posting, the Member’s credit privileges shall be suspended and the Member duly advised, by U.S. Mail and/or e-mail, of such fact of suspension, and further, unless his or her total indebtedness (dues and account) shall be paid in full within 30 days after the date of such notice, that all privileges of Membership in the Club may be forfeited and that his or her membership may be terminated in pursuance of the provisions of Section 19 of this Article. Any Member who is posted for non-payment of either dues or account twice during any consecutive 12-month period, or who shall incur any indebtedness while his or her credit is suspended, shall be further notified of such fact by U.S. Mail and/or e-mail, which notice shall further state that the Member’s name shall be brought before the Executive Committee to consider his or her expulsion from membership pursuant to Section 16 of this Article. Any Member who, in the judgment of the Board, displays a pattern of late and/ or partial payment of his or her account may be subject to discipline by the Executive Committee, pursuant to Article VII, Section 16, notwithstanding any other provision of this Section. The Treasurer shall have the authority to establish a charge for checks returned for insufficient funds. This charge will be in addition to bank charges, if any. Any Member giving or endorsing a check to the Club that is not paid on presentation will be notified of such non-payment. If the amount of the check is not paid to the Club within ten days from the mailing of the notice of non-payment, the Member will be suspended forthwith, without further action, from all Club privileges until the amount of the check is paid.
