ARTICLE II Special Functions

Section 1. Club Policy. The Clubhouse is primarily for the general use of Members of the Club, and all special functions may require the review and approval of the House Advisory Team. However, special functions are encouraged to increase utilization of the Clubhouse facilities and staff. The House Advisory Team will consider all Member sponsored requests that, if approved, will not cause undue inconvenience to the general membership. Section 2. Sponsorship. A Member must request and sponsor any special function held at the Club and assume personal responsibility for any indebtedness incurred and the nature of the event. Attendance for all private parties is to be by invitation only. Advertisement or any other means of event notification intended for distribution to the general public is prohibited. Section 3. Special Function Rooms. The Eisenhower Room, Ballroom and Covered Banquet Terrace, Presidents Room, Founders Room and adjacent patios, Twenty Two Private Dining, Arnie’s Private Dining, and the Multi-Purpose Room are Club areas available for special functions. The number of guests and services requested, together with anticipated impact on member services, will normally determine room assignments. Section 4. Requests for special functions should be directed to the Director of Catering, the function, number of guests and services required should be included. Upon approval, the Catering Department will assume responsibility for finalizing all details and coordinating with all other Club departments. Section 5. Certain special functions require a minimum and applicable cancellation fee, if necessary. The Catering Department is responsible for managing all appropriate details.
