CHERRY HILLS COUNTRY CLUB
Clubhouse. Children under 12 years of age are not allowed in the Clubhouse (except in KidZone) unless directly supervised by a Member or a Members’ spouse, except in connection with a special children’s event or if they are going to or from the restroom. As a practical matter of policy enforcement, well-behaved children under the age of 12 travelling through the Clubhouse (e.g. to restrooms, getting a soft drink) are afforded some latitude with regard to direct parental supervision. Coworkers should use reasonable rule enforcement discretion if health, safety, or appropriate decorum is not of concern. Locker Rooms. Children under the age of 16 must be directly supervised by a Member or Member’s spouse (except in KidZone). An exception is provided for children under the age of 16 who are eligible to use and are using the golf practice facility or playing golf. Boys may only enter the Men’s Locker Room through the north door and use the toilet facilities immediately adjacent to that entrance. Girls may use the Golfer’s Entrance to access the toilet facilities in the Women’s Locker Room. Parents escorting children of the opposite gender who are too young to use their own gender’s locker room unaccompanied, may be accompanied in the reception area restroom of the parent’s gender until the child is 8 years of age or older. Card Rooms and Men’s Locker Room Grille Area. Persons under 21 years of age are not allowed in these areas at any time. Children observed misbehaving will be corrected by staff and/or reported to the supervising Member or Member’s spouse. Further misbehavior will be reported to the COO or their designee. Members are responsible for the conduct of their children and their children’s guests while on the property of the Club. 10. Smoking is not permitted inside of any building, on any patio, on any balcony, on the pool decks or within 20 feet of any entrance or any patio dining space, except that smoking is allowed on the northwest balcony of the Men’s Grille; however, if a member complains about smoke smell on a specific occasion, the member or a staff member may ask the smoker to stop smoking. A failure to heed the request to stop smoking may result in issuance of a letter from the House Advisory Team Chair. The Board of Directors may from time to time designate other areas where smoking is allowed or prohibited. 11. Cell Phones. The following policy applies to cell phones and mobile electronic devices ARTICLE IV [39]
