carts should scatter off cart paths and avoid all newly sodded and soft spots in the turf. The Director of Grounds may authorize that carts remain in rough areas, crossing fairways where necessary. A Member who has been granted permission by the Director of Golf (which requires a letter from a medical doctor, explaining why the Member should be allowed to drive off the cart paths) will be issued a handicap flag. This flag is not transferable. 3. When approaching greens or tees, cart paths surrounding or adjacent to these areas must be used. When cart paths are not available, carts should be kept at least 30 feet away from all greens and tees. Players must follow cart signs at all times. 4. No person without a valid driver’s license may operate a golf cart at any time. 5. Members using golf carts shall be held fully responsible for any or all damage, including damage to the carts, that is caused by the misuse of the carts. 6. Repeated violations of this article may result in loss of golf cart privileges as determined by the Golf Advisory Team. 7. No more than two persons and two bags shall ride in, or upon, a golf cart at any time. 8. No privately owned golf cart of any kind shall be used or operated upon the golf course or grounds, except as authorized by the Board of Directors. 9. No person shall ride on the back of any golf cart unless a golf cart rear seat kit is included. The rear of the cart is for storage of golf equipment only and should not be used for carrying passengers. 10. Fees for rental of golf carts shall be published annually and provided to all Members. Golfers using carts when others in group are walking and using caddies shall pay published caddie rates. 11. Carts must be returned by sunset. ARTICLE VII Golf Dress Code 1. Appropriate golf attire must be worn at all times on the Championship Golf Course, Par 3 course, practice course, and surrounding areas by all Members, guests, and immediate family of Members who are treated as a guest. 2. All males are required to wear golf shirts (tucked in) and golf slacks or appropriate
