The African American Health Network in Dane County has taken proactive steps to engage with teenagers and provide them with essential knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their health and well-being. Teenagers often face unique challenges when it comes to health, including peer pressure, evolving body image concerns, mental health issues, and access to accurate health information. Recognizing these challenges, the network has designed targeted education initiatives that speak to the specific needs and interests of adolescents within the African American community.
