2020 Band Shoppe

BAND SHOPPE was founded in September of 1970 as Pearison Music Service, a small music store in Southern Indiana that sold and repaired musical instruments. In 1979, Pearison Music Service started selling marching uniforms and accessories out of a small printed catalog. In 1982, our first full-color catalog was released featuring shoes, uniforms, flags, and parade banners under the name Band Shoppe.

IN 1985 the music and instrument repair shop closed as a new warehouse was opened and later joined with a new manufacturing plant. In the early 1990s, the business continued to expand. Ten acres of land were purchased, and in 1996, ground broke for a new 27,500 square foot facility.

THE NEW MILLENNIUM brought more employment opportunities as Band Shoppe continued to grow in employees and product offerings. We became a notable name in the marching industry as we lent our talents to major market projects, like uniforms for the motion picture Drumline, as well as working with world-renowned companies.

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE we continue to strive for innovation. In 2008, we released the Air Blade spinning prop

that was later used in the Super Bowl halftime show with Lady Gaga. After 50 years in the industry, we look to continue our journey of supplying the Marching Community with the uniforms and products they need to be successful. We work diligently to reach every customer's specific needs, great and small, with the same attention to detail that started it all 50 years ago.
