Airgas Safety - the safety division of Airgas Incorporated (NYSE: ARG), purchased 18.8 acres of land in order to build their new 248,500 SF facility. They had looked throughout the mid-Atlantic region before selecting Bristol Commerce Center. Airgas’s decision to move to the KOEZ-designated Bristol Commerce Center was driven by several factors: they wanted to consolidate two locations into one large building - the site offered one of the few opportunities in Bucks County to construct a building of that size; they wanted to keep their operations local for the long term, retaining jobs in the Town- ship and make plans for future growth; and they wanted to take advantage of the KOEZ benefits (a KOEZ designation provides financial tax abatements to businesses looking to re- locate or expand in the area). The site houses 175 employees, contains 45,000 SF of offices, is fully air conditioned, ESFR sprinklered, and has 32’ clear ceilings. Andy McGhee, Senior Vice President of Colliers International worked on behalf of Herring Properties to negotiate a successful transaction. RELY ON ROCK
