Bay Cities Celebrates 69 Years Of Innovation, Ownership & Impact Bay Cities recently celebrated its 69th birthday with Bay Day. Since 1956, Bay Cities has stood out in the world of industrial packaging, retail packaging and in-store dis- plays by staying true to its core: innovation, sustainability, and 100% employee ownership. As the fiscal year wrapped at the end of June, Bay Cit- ies reflected on some of the milestones from the last year.

Honors and Awards This year, Bay Cities’ award-winning design team was recognized with three OMA Awards, including one Gold and two Silvers, plus a Sustainability Award for pushing the limits of what merchandising can be. Additionally, it received the honor of a Progressive Grocer Impact Award in Sustainability/Resource Conservation, underscoring its commitment to innovation that’s not just eye-catching, but also environmentally responsible. New Office Opening, Reduced Environmental Footprint To better serve its partners, Bay Cities launched Dig- ital Print Partners (DPP), North America’s first fully auto- mated digital print facility for packaging and displays. It also opened a new office in Cincinnati, growing its Mid- west presence and strengthening coast-to-coast reach. Its commitment to minimizing environmental impact also expanded this year, to measure and manage emissions across Scopes 1, 2, and 3. Bringing The Industry Together At Winning@Retail This spring, Bay Cities hosted its biannual Winning@ Retail conference in Redondo Beach, CA, bringing togeth- er top minds in retail, packaging, and shopper marketing. The event delivered real insights and actionable strategies for navigating today’s rapidly evolving retail landscape. From panels Mastering Walmart and Brand Power to keynotes with thought leaders like Garry Ridge (for- mer CEO of WD-40) and Steve Frenda (Inspiring-Retail) and Peter Adderton (Mobile/MobileX Founder), Win- ning@Retail served as a reminder that when strategy, storytelling, and execution come together, retail wins. Wins for People and Community Bay Cities’ culture as a 100 percent employee-owned company sets it apart.
