The right scent can trigger a flood of memories, influence your mood, and even create a focused work environment. No wonder essential oil aromatherapy is so popular and used by so many people for everything from relaxation to balance and as a natural energiser and refresher. Of course, not everyone loves the exact same scents, so half the fun of your diffuser is experimenting with different oils to create your own custom blends. Since the possibilities are nearly endless, we created this guide to give you a head start and help you identify the blends you like best. You can use them exactly as they are or alter the recipes until you find something that’s uniquely you. But no matter what blends you end up using, make sure you start with quality oils. Diffuser care and tips Choosing your diffuser is almost as important as choosing your oils. To deliver the best aromatic experience, we offer the PURE ™ Ultrasonic Diffuser & Humidifier . Why ours rocks: • Ultrasonic uses high-frequency vibrations to create an ultra-fine mist of water and essential oils. It even doubles as a humidifier. • Cold-air diffuser doesn’t heat the oil, so all of the aromatic benefits of the oils remain intact. • Automatically turns itself off when water tank is empty. • Four timer settings (30, 60, 120 minutes, and continuous until empty) let you set it and forget it.

For best results: • If the water level inside the diffuser runs too low, the diffuser will automatically turn off, or it might not even turn on. This is to protect the ultrasonic mechanism. • Only pour out the remaining water from the drain side. Do not pour out water from the outlet side! • Do not take off the cover of the diffuser during operation. • Do not scratch the ultrasonic mechanism in the water tank. • Use only pure essential oils. Inferior essential oils may damage the diffuser. • Do not use chlorine or acidic detergents for cleaning outside or inside the diffuser.
Bliss on the go. While the blends in this book have been custom designed for use in a diffuser, that doesn’t mean that’s the only way they can be enjoyed. With a little experimentation, they can also be ideal for topical use to create your own signature scent. Just be sure to follow proper dilution guidelines.

One of the greatest things about PURE Essential Oils is the ability to create and diffuse your own custom blends. And while this guide is filled with some great starters, you're probably anxious to begin creating your own. To help you get started, we've divided the oils into categories based on their scent properties. While all the oils in a single category have very distinctive fragrances, they share similar aromatic properties. Knowing these properties will help you determine if your blend is ideal for relaxing after a long day, or for a quick pick-me-up to help get you moving in the morning.
