Lake Area Recovery Center

WE BELIEVE that chemical dependency is a progressive, fatal illness that is highly treatable. We encourage early intervention and we are committed to the provision of quality, affordable treatment and prevention services. WE BELIEVE that family participation greatly increases the chances for successful treatment outcome; therefore, we have developed strong family components in all of our programming. WE BELIEVE that adolescent chemical dependency requires the mobilization of a variety of treatment and community resources; therefore, we work in cooperation with families, school personnel and other providers toward the development of appropriate, accessible treatment services for children. WE BELIEVE that active involvement in self-help groups is a necessary adjunct to professional treatment services; therefore, we encourage our clients to participate meaningfully in organizations such as Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Al-Anon, Al-Anon/A.C.A. (Adult Children of Alcoholics), Al-Ateen, Overeaters Anonymous, Families Anonymous, Gamblers Anonymous, as well as other self-help groups as appropriate. WE BELIEVE that we have a responsibility to this community to provide treatment services to all of those in need regardless of ability to pay; therefore, we seek the most effective, yet cost efficient methods of providing services. WE BELIEVE that abstinence is the goal of chemical dependency treatment.

We are accredited by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.
