ANCC Foundation Did you Know?
Over the past year the United States Golf Association (USGA) Museum has provided the ANCC Foundation with several scorecards, three of which are quite significant because they represent early course configurations. Two of the scorecards, dated November 9, 1939 and May 16, 1946 are for the Arlington course. The third, dated May 11, 1953, is for Fairfax Country Club, the course that ANCC purchased in 1958 to become ANCC Fairfax. Each of these scorecards are neatly dated/scored for a player identified as “J.B.R.”. To find out who JBR was and how these scorecards came into the hands of the USGA, click here.
The Trial Membership program offers the opportunity for people to enjoy the ANCC lifestyle for a preview of 6 consecutive months with no upfront Initiation Fee and access to all of the Club’s facilities and activities. The program is only open to NEWMembers. *Does not include new Members who join under the Newly Commissioned, No Initiation Fee category.
** The $300 credit may be applied to everything except Dues, Capital Infusion, Initiation Fees & the Employee Appreciation Fund. Member must be the Primary Sponsor to receive the $300 credit. The credit may not be applied retroactively.
