Your generous support of higher education and students such as me is both commendable and appreciated. What you have done for me is a major step toward my future of earning a college degree and preparing for the real world, despite me being deaf and my family's battle with cancer.
My name is Ben Capellan, and I am a recipient of the Agnes Lucille Craft Greene Memorial Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year. It is an honor to be selected to receive this scholarship. I want to personally thank you for your contribution. I am truly grateful for what you have given me since it has been a rough few years for me and my family. My mother especially had it rough with breast cancer. She still persists in encouraging me to go through college and wishing me a good future. is generous scholarship is much needed and deeply appreciated. It will help support my education, well-being and my disability.
Mostly, it helps me achieve my dream of being a studio artist, a potter.
