^" J EHOVAH ’S WITNESSES? YOU CAN !

SOMETH ING TO MAKE T h e month of May brings Mother’s Day. As you think of Mother’s Day I’m sure you are asking this ques tion: “What can I give to Mother on her special Day?” Mothers like things that are made especially for them §j|g so why not make your mother a Mother’s Day Booklet of Bible Verses? Choose a pretty piece of construc tion paper for the cover of your book and white paper for the pages. You will need enough white paper to make six pages. From a piece of construction paper the same color as the piece you chose fo r the c ov e r , cut the l et ter s M-O-T-H-E-R. The headlines in the daily newspaper will furnish patterns for the letters or you may use the let ters from an ABC book for the pat terns. Paste one letter on each of the white pages of the book. Then write on each page a Bible verse beginning with that letter as M My peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give 1 unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. — John 14:27 O O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out. — Ram. 11:3 3 T The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlast ing arms. — Deut. 33:27 H Her price is far above rubies . . . Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. — Prov. 31:10, 28 E Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. — Jas. 1:17 R Rest in the Lord, and wait pa tiently for him. ■ — Psa. 37:7 When the book is completed, place all of the white pages within the cover, punch holes and tie with a rib bon or cord. A picture of flowers, cut from a magazine, would decorate the cover; or use a picture of a mother and her child. If you give your mother on Mother’s Day a book such as has been sug gested, you will make her very happy. —M.S.H. The church that is not a missionary church is a missing church. It’s safer for a believer to lie down in peace, than to sit up and worry.
