Pre-race activities included a survivors breakfast and pre-race warm-up led by Hope Chest Dragon Boat members. The race began and ended at Buffalo Riverworks after following a route that took the participants downtown and along Canalside. Orthosports was represented by our own PT, Donna Gulick. The Susan G. Komen More Than Pink Walk was held on Saturday June 8th. There were more than 2000 participants and over $250,000 was raised to support research, patient care, community-based programs and patient advocacy. Local agencies that have benefitted from monies raised from the annual Komen event include ECMC’s Mobile Mammography program, WNY Cancer Services program, Kevin Guest House and a Refugee Breast Health Awareness project.
