It’s essential your children be evaluated for orthodontic treatment by the time they turn 7, regardless of whether your dentist recommends it or not.

Don’t wait until your child has reached their teen years or all of their permanent teeth have come in before scheduling their first orthodontic appointment. Get them on the schedule before they turn 7, and you’ll have a much easier time avoiding high treatment costs later in their life!

In an ideal world, we could wait until our child’s permanent teeth are in before looking at orthodontic treatment, but that’s not always reality.
