BEST CONSUMER BANK

E xchange Bank has been voted Best Consumer Bank by readers once again—and the financial institution is honored and humbled to continue to receive this recognition. “It’s a testament to the trust our customers place in us every day, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support,” says Suzanne Knowlton, VP and director of marketing and community relations. “Our first reaction was one of immense gratitude—both for our loyal customers and for our incredible team, who work tirelessly to provide the best banking experience possible.” The financial institution credits the award to its customers and its team. Customers are at top of mind and drive the company to improve and innovate, while the team continues to bring that vision to life with dedication and passion. “It reinforces our commitment to personalized service, integrity and community-focused banking,” said Knowlton. The key to success for Exchange Bank is relationship building, not just transactions. While many financial institutions focus on numbers, Exchange focuses just as much on people. The bank prides itself on understanding each customer’s unique needs while providing personalized solutions rather than one-size-fits-all services. This year, Exchange Bank is looking to enhance its digital banking experience. By Javier Hernandez E XCHANGE BANK

BEST HEALTH CARE PROVIDER

“T hank you, Sonoma County, for choosing Kaiser Permanente as your preferred partner in health,” says Abhishek Dosi, senior vice president and area manager. This year Kaiser celebrated its 45th year serving Sonoma County. The Best Health Care Provider honor is in recognition of the organization’s high- quality service and long-term commitment to the area. “At a time when so many Americans can’t afford health care, the for-profit, fee-for-service model is falling short in meeting patients’ demands,” Dosi says. “Kaiser, as a nonprofit integrated delivery system, offers the combination of a health plan, hospital and medical group. This structural and functional integration benefits both members and the community.” Ever on the alert to improve and innovate, Kaiser recently launched several initiatives. “After listening to our members and hearing their preferences, we expanded our care options and opened an Urgent Care department, providing walk-up appointments for non-emergency treatment,” says Dr. Trish Hiserote, physician in chief. “And, to meet the needs of our growing older adult membership, we opened a new Ambulatory Treatment Center. The goal is to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and allowing patients to stay at home.” In March of this year, the health care provider completed a second expansion of its Oncology Infusion Center, offering patients an K AISER PERMANENTE By Bo Kearns
