BEST ANNUAL FESTIVAL OR EVENT
C OUNTRY SUMMER
By Ismael Ramos
D on’t let the name fool you, Country Summer is more than a country music festival. The staff and crew of this event have worked tirelessly over the years to curate experiences and memories that are built to last. Or, at least, until the next year when Country Summer returns and tries to outdo itself from the previous year. According to Executive Producer Drew Jacoby, the three-day event is more than just a country music festival. “We’ve been called Sonoma County’s biggest party, Northern California’s favorite festival,” says Jacoby. “We offer a wide variety of food and drink options, have games and activities like a mechanical bull, and many of our partners create fun activities for the whole family to enjoy. Country Summer is truly three epic days of non-stop excitement,” They say money can’t buy happiness, but Country Summer sure tries to disprove that by doing the best it can to turn every dollar spent into an equal number of smiles. “Our other big focus has been on affordability. This year, the cost of a 3-Day General Admission package is $225, or less than $10/ artist, including fees. With the additional activities alongside the great music, this is a value-packed deal for a weekend that country fans won’t soon forget,” says Jacoby. Country Summer secured the Best Annual Festival or Event title this year through fostering unforgettable memories via activities, atmosphere and,

most importantly, music. Besides getting well-known headliners, attendees are also given the opportunity to discover new music. “There’s nothing better than hearing fans say, ‘Ooh, Sam Barber? Yeah, I saw him last year at Country Summer and he’s my new favorite,’” says Jacoby. Don’t miss out on the festivities this year; Country Summer runs from June 27 to 29. v countrysummer.com
