All three claims were settled in arbitration/mediation. Has a management contract ever been terminated for cause? In last 5 years, Seabreeze Management Company has parted ways with 4 associations. One pertained to differences of opinion, where the Board had specific motivations for their community that did not align with our recommendations. For the health of the association, we decided it would be best on both sides for us to move in different directions. Two associations decided to become self-managed. The fourth was unhappy with the service they believed they should be receiving from our firm, and after months of work to reconnect the relationship, we both mutually agreed that it was an appropriate time for them to seek an alternative vendor to serve their needs.
