BRAD’S DRINK (PEPSI)
So, number two, the runner- up! Brad’s Drink! In the 1800s, a man named Caleb Bradham left university and started his own pharmacy. Like most pharmacies at the time, bottles of soda were also for sale outside the store and the medicine inside. But, something was different about this particular soda, which his customers loved. This best-selling soda drink was so popular that Caleb purchased a name for it - ‘Brad’s Drink’, after his surname, Bradham. But he then decided to change the name to be relevant to ‘pepsin’, an enzyme in your digestive system which dissolves food. Bradham frequently went on to change the name of his drink from Pepsin Drink, to Pep-Kola, and finally ‘Pepsi Cola’.
TROPICANA (TROPCN)
And at number one on the list, 'Tropcn'! If you have orange juice in your fridge at home, it might be from a popular drink company, Tropicana. Now, I know what you're thinking, Elliott; why is this number one? They just removed letters! I'm aware, and it's for the silliest reason I've heard: Tropicana tried to prove just how natural their juice is by removing all the AI from their brand... LITERALLY!! This is not official, but there has been a recent campaign with some bottles with the new text being given out. Oh gosh.
