Still the dogs give chase, barking in frustrated delight.
On we go, stile after stile, field after field,
Until at last the warm welcome of our glowing home.
Nature by Santi Beckett - Aller (8S)
When the sun rises, gleaming through drops of dew,
The world awakens, crisp and new,
High above the mountain, with a brilliant view,
The grass vibrant green and the sky bright blue,
The chirp of the birds and the low sweeping breeze,
The ripple of the lake and the swaying of the trees,
The flutter of wings and the hum of the bees,
The rustle in the grass and the crunch of the leaves,
The smell of the flowers, and the joy that it brings,
The freshness of the rain, among beautiful things,
The whistle of the wind, oh how is sings,
Why nature makes us feel like kings.
