rarity in today’s environment and clearly speaks to the ideal access and quality of this class A campus.” In addition to the Children of America building, Commerce Center has an additional free- standing retail pad available that can accommodate a 5,200 s/f building. This retail pad – ideal for medical or retail uses – will front Haddonfield Rd. Groundbreaking date for this second Commerce Center pad site is to be determined. Vissi Architectural + Design serves as the architect for both of the planned buildings. Located at 1800, 1810, and

1820 Chapel Avenue West, the three-building, 153,000 s/f Commerce Center is situated just off Rte. 38 at the intersec- tion of Chapel Avenue West and Haddonfield Rd. It is less than 10 miles east of Philadelphia. On site, tenants have compli- mentary access to a full-scale fitness center, shared confer - ence space and ample parking. Two large-scale retail centers within one mile of the campus offer convenience to abundant shopping and dining options. Long-time tenant Kremer Eye Center recently relocated and expanded its footprint at the class A campus and

committed to another long- term lease. A leading regional provider of innovative vision care services and surgical solutions, Kremer Eye Center moved from 1800 Chapel Av- enue West into a newly built- out, state-of-the-art facility at the adjacent 1820 Chapel Avenue West. The campus also serves as home to Cranial Technologies, Lincoln Finan- cial and a diverse mix of busi- nesses and service providers. At Commerce Center, recent campus-wide upgrades include new roofs with solar panels on all three buildings. Highlights also include a courtyard; its stringent requirements set by USGBC for energy, lighting, water, and material use, as well as incorporating a variety of other sustainable strategies. Key features include highly efficient HVAC systems and optimized natural lighting to reduce electrical consumption. The project also emphasized water conservation through the implementation of low-flow fix - tures and native, drought-resis- tant landscaping to minimize irrigation water usage. These elements contributed to the building’s overall sustainability performance and helped secure the LEED Silver Certification. Brad Hastings, AIA, LEED AP , principal-in-charge, ex- pressed his pride in the project, stating, “Achieving LEED Sil- ver for the Guerrieri Technol- ogy Center is a testament to

renovation this year will in- corporate expanded seating and tables. Additional planned improvements include new monument signage on Haddon- field Rd., providing enhanced tenant name exposure on that high-traffic thoroughfare. “The positive momentum at Commerce Center is pal- pable,” said Michael Rosen- baum , general manager of DMP. “Along with the range of ongoing upgrades, the ad- dition of an on-site childcare center – a sought-after ame- nity – will further amplify the complex’s desirability for class A tenants.” MAREJ the design team’s dedication to sustainable design. This certification exemplifies the teamwork displayed by Wor- Wic, the design team, and our contractors throughout the entire process. We are honored to deliver a project that not only meets the high standards of USGBC but also serves the community’s educa- tional needs while minimizing environmental impact.” Becker Morgan Group ex- tends its gratitude to all project partners and the stakeholders at Wor-Wic Community Col- lege for their cooperation and commitment to achieving this prestigious certification.
