DRAWING, Painting, & printmaking
Printmaking This camp will introduce students to
Landscapes Landscape painting is the theme of the week, and students will create beautiful works of art inspired by different landscape artists, art movements, and cultural traditions. Topics include: Constable, Rousseau, Ryder, Friedrich, Zen Buddhist, Romanticism, Expressionism, and Surrealism.
Teen Zine WEEK This camp introduces teens to the concept of “zines.” Campers will learn how to self-publish works of original or appropriated text and images in a creative handmade booklet format. different methods of printmaking, including relief printing, gel plate printing, collagraphs, cyanotype, and more!

architecture Students will learn to draw building exteriors and interiors, as well as drawing city scenes using linear perspective techniques such as architectural, one-point, two-point, and three-point perspective.

mixed media During this intensive, teens will explore layering media such as watercolor, colored pencil, soft pastels, ink, acrylic, and more while developing realism skills and abstraction.

scholarships & financial aid Callanwolde Financial Aid is available for all children and teen programming at Callanwolde and is awarded to students based on financial need and/or merit. Callanwolde is also able to provide financial aid to those with disabilities due to the Frank Barham Fund.
