How much time can you expect to devote to your courses each week?

WORDS TO KNOW Pre-requisites A requirement that needs to be met before taking a course. Co-requisites Separate courses required to be taken within the same 8- week session. Credit Hour Is a measure of time that indicates how many hours per week you can expect to be in a classroom. This number is doubled for 8-week courses.

Note: 8-week courses are accelerated, so twice as much time is spent on them versus 16-week courses.

Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) To remain in good standing with the college, and to maintain eligibility for financial aid, each student must do the following:

Buffer credits

Maintain an overall minimum of a 2.0 GPA

Credits attempted are within 1.5x required credits by declared major. Students are notified when they are close to maximum time frame.
