Everyday Value Meals Made Easy Great food starts with great value. That’s why we’ve pulled together five simple, tasty recipes using the Everyday Value deals from our stores.

Spaghetti Bolognese Ingredients (Serves 4) • 500g beef mince • 1 onion, diced • 2 garlic cloves, chopped • 1 tin chopped tomatoes (400g) • 2 tbsp tomato purée (optional) • 200g spaghetti • Olive oil, salt, pepper Instructions 1. H eat oil in a large pan, cook onion and garlic until soft. 2. Add beef mince and cook until browned. 3. Stir in chopped tomatoes and purée, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15– 20 minutes. 4. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti according to pack instructions. 5. S erve with grated cheese & fresh basil (optional) - great with garlic bread too!

Chicken Stir Fry Ingredients (Serves 2) • 300g chicken breast, sliced thinly • 1 pepper, sliced • 1 onion, sliced • 2 tbsp soy sauce • 1 tbsp vegetable oil • Rice or noodles (optional for serving) Instructions: 1. H eat oil in a frying pan or wok, cook onion and pepper for 2–3 minutes. 2. Add chicken and stir fry until cooked through. 3. Pour over soy sauce and stir well. 4. Serve with rice or noodles. Get more veg in Use any other veg that needs used up! - thinly sliced carrots, green beans, mushrooms and spring onion are all ideal in stir fry..

Mince and Onion Pie Ingredients (Serves 4) • 500g beef mince • 1 onion, diced • 1 beef stock cube • Ready-rolled pastry (found in the chilled section) • 1 egg (for egg wash) Instructions: 1. B rown onion and mince in a pan. 2. Add stock cube and 200ml water. Simmer for 20 minutes. 3. Preheat oven to 200°C. 4. Fill a pie dish with mince mixture. Cover with pastry. 5. B rush top with beaten egg and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden. Bulk up with beans For extra value, toss in a tin of kidney or baked beans into your Bolognese or pie filling – they’re cheap, filling, and add extra goodness.
