Supporting colleagues and their families: How GroceryAid is making a difference
In August 2024, Scotmid proudly launched a new partnership with GroceryAid—and since then, it has gone from strength to strength. Many colleagues have already benefitted from access to the wide range of free, confidential services provided by GroceryAid. Our people, our priority At the heart of Scotmid are our people. But life doesn’t always run smoothly. From financial pressures to emotional struggles, challenges arise. GroceryAid can provide additional support when needed most. Emotional support that’s always available One of the most valued aspects of GroceryAid’s support is professional counselling, available to all grocery sector colleagues and their immediate family members—completely free of charge. Counsellors are trained to support a wide range of concerns, from stress and anxiety to bereavement and family issues—ensuring help is always just a phone call away. “Thank you from the very bottom of my heart.
