Scotmid Jigsaw Summer 2025

AGM 2025

Hundreds of members came together for the Society’s Annual General Meetings, which were held across three venues in Edinburgh, Larkhall and Inverness. Members were provided with updates on the financial performance of the Society, upcoming developments, and the great work being done to support our local communities. Members also received presentations from each of the Community Connect groups hoping to secure funding. There were 12 places available on the Society’s Regional Committees and 12 members had been nominated for those places, so the elections were uncontested. Details of those members elected can be found in the table opposite.

What happens at a Scotmid General Meeting? Scotmid holds Annual General Meetings (AGM) across Scotland. They are open to all members of the Society.

These meetings provide members with important updates on our financial performance, strategic developments, and community initiatives. They are also a chance to take part in our democratic process — by asking questions, voting on key issues, and helping to decide how funding is allocated to local causes. AGMs are a great opportunity to connect with fellow members, meet your elected representatives, engage with Scotmid colleagues, and hear directly from community groups and charity partners.
