We’re coming to Leeds! Great News! BIFA is now covering the Leeds area in its classroom courses! This is a great opportunity for those in the surrounding areas to attend some of our current courses that may have been out of reach before. Forthcoming courses are as follows: Freight Forwarding Essentials – Monday 23 October This one-day course is perfect for those new to forwarding, designed to allow delegates to gain basic experience of the overall processes. This course focuses on the requirements of forwarders and intermediaries. Customs Essentials – Wednesday 1 November This one-day course provides basic knowledge of the key Customs documentation and
regimes. Ideal for someone with a base understanding of the industry, and an ideal follow-on from our Freight Forwarding Essentials course. BTEC Intermediate Award in Customs Export and Import Procedures (5 days) – Wednesday 11, 18, 25 October, 8 + 22 November Originally developed by BIFA with input from HM Customs, this BTEC- accredited course has evolved to cover the export and import Customs procedures of today. Over four tutor-led training days, delegates will gain an understanding of Customs terminology, procedures and regimes through group work, presentations, work-based assignments and projects. To complete the course there will be a 90-minute assessment (but do not worry, it is open-book).
