Esko Niels Stenfeldt has expanded his role to Vice Presi-
dent EMEA & Global Brand Sales for Esko, Ghent, Belgium. Stenfeldt will be assuming the role previously held by Armand Gougay, who is re- tiring after 27 years at Esko. Sten- feldt joined Esko in May responsible for global Brand Sales. Armand Gougay will remain with Esko until the end of the year.

Eaglewood Technologies Peter J. Mulheran has been promoted to Vice Presi- dent and General Manager of Eaglewood Technolo- gies. Mulheran is responsible for managing the sales channel and product portfolio domestically and inter- nationally. Mulheran was integral in the development of the Sanilox System, which was introduced in 2014. Printing Industries Of America Julie McFarland, President of McNaughton & Gunn, Inc., has been named the 2016 Naomi Berber Memor- ial Award recipient. McFarland’s award will be pre- sented at the 2016 PIA Fall Administrative Meeting on November 18 in Kansas City, Missouri. In 1975, Bob McNaughton, McFarland’s father, began McNaughton & Gunn, Inc. in Saline, Michigan. At the age of 16, McFarland started out answering the company’s phones but she soon rose through the ranks and moved into production, estimating, and ac- counting. McFarland was named Chief Operating Of- ficer in 1992 and Chief Executive Officer in 1994. She was named President in 2012 after her father stepped down. In addition to leading her business, she has been Treasurer and a board member of the Ann Arbor Graphic Arts Memorial Foundation for the past 14 years; has served as Treasurer and as a finance com- mittee member of Washtenaw Literacy, an organiza- tion that promotes adult literacy; and is Past-President and a continuing supporter of the Saline Area Cham- ber of Commerce. She also spearheaded the initiative to make McNaughton & Gunn, Inc. a certifiedWoman Owned Business after her father’s retirement. McFar- land was also named one of Business Direct Weekly’s Most Influential Women in 2003 and received the 2016 Ben Franklin Award from the Michigan Printing Week Association.
