Flint Group Friedrich von Rechteren has been appointed Vice President Sales EMEA and Global Business Develop- ment for Flint Group Flexographic Products. Friedrich von Rechteren, while being the head of this unit, will simultaneously assume the re- sponsibility for Sales in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will also be a member of the Flexographic Products Senior Leadership Team. Members of the new Global Business Development Team are: Mats Lind, Business Development Manager, respon- sible for the flexible packaging market segment. Philipp Eissner, Business Development Manager, re- sponsible for the corrugated board market segment as well as for the support of brand owners. Dr. Joelle Bédat, Business Development Manager, responsible for the support of flexographic press manufacturers. TAPPI The recipient of TAPPI’s Lifetime Achievement Award is Peter Snyder, National Accounts Manager at HarperLove. In the past 28 years, Snyder has been an Friedrich von Rechteren This year’s recipient of the Corru- gated Division Technical Award and Harry J. Bettendorf prize is Rick Putch, Director of Technical Services & Process Im- provement, at National Steel Rule. This year’s recipient of the Dave Carlson Corrugat- ed Division Leadership and Service award is Doug Muller, President of The Haire Group. Muller has served on six committees and is the recipient of the Paul Magnabosco Outstanding Local Section Member Award in 2004. TAPPI will honor the winners during the Awards Breakfast at 2016 SuperCorrExpo on October 18 in Orlando, Florida. Pamarco Ron Gowan has been named Technical Manager for the Offset Division of Pamarco,Atlanta, Georgia. Peter Snyder active part of over a dozen TAPPI committees serving as Chairman on several of them. Snyder has been a member of three different TAPPI Local Sections and also served on the TAPPI Foundation Board of Trustees.
