• Participation in more than one category within the categories of individual runs is not allowed. • The quantity to participate in the individual runs may not be less than 100 kg per type. • The quantity to participate in the Elite Round may not be less than 25 kg per type and is to be of commercial nature. • Participating dates must be free from all insect infestations. • The dates must be free from visible defects. • Dates should not have an unnatural smell or taste or be tainted with metallic or sandy traces such as scars and others. • The dates should be of an appropriate size. • They must be free from pesticide and chemical fertilizer residues, as the winning production will be tested in the laboratory. • Dates participating in all categories of the competition should be presented to the committee in boxes designated for the competition. • All participants should comply with the committee’s decisions.
