Through this competition, the Cultural Programs and Heritage Festivals Committee – Abu Dhabi, seeks to shed light on the heritage of the Emirates with a special emphasis on date palms by featuring visual stories that highlight the various aspects of the UAE wild and marine life, in addition to focusing on the rich legacy left by the founding fathers, including the natural marine and terrestrial landscapes and eye-catching sights of date palms. The award is divided into two categories: Category 1: Palm Trees & Dates: Images in this category should reflect the human bonds with date palms. Amateur and professional photographers from all over the world are welcome to participate in this category, to highlight the economic, environmental and heritage aspects of date palms. Category 2: Wild & Marine Life in Al Dhafra: Al Dhafra boasts charming sand dunes, beautiful beaches and diverse environment, where birds, especially the Arabian Oryx,
تحرص لجنــة إدارة املهرجانات والربامــج الثقافية والرتاثية بأبوظبــي من خالل هذه املســابقة عىل تســليط الضوء عىل تراث اإلمارات ونخلة التمر بتجسيد قصص مرئية ملختلــف تراث اإلمارات يف الحياة الربية والبحريــة، إىل جانب الرتكيز عىل تراث اآلباء واألجداد واملناظــر الطبيعية يف البحر والرب، ونخلة التمــر التي تخطف األبصار بتميز تصميمها ومثارها.
تقسم الجائزة إىل فئتني: الفئة األوىل: النخلة والتمور
صورة تجســد عالقة اإلنســان بشــجرة نخلة التمر بثامرها ومــزارع النخيــل والصناعات يف العامل الرتاثيــة من ســعف النخيــل، وبامــكان املصورين من هــواة ومحرتفــ املشــاركة بهذه الفئة، إلبراز املقومات االقتصادية والبيئيــة والرتاثية لنخيل التمور. الفئة الثانية : الحياة الربية والبحرية يف الظفرة الظفــرة بكثبانهــا الرملية الســاحرة وبشــواطئها الجميلــة وبيئتهــا املتنوعة، حيث الطيور وعىل رأســها الصقــور واملها العريب والغــزالن واإلبل والخيــول يف كثبان ليوا التي تخفي حولهــا ينابيع املياه والنباتــات واألحافري، والبحر
