SUSANNE BUTLER, PT, BSCPT GETTING TO KNOW THE SHORELINE PHYSICAL THERAPY TEAM!
In order for her to complete this race, Sue combined a low-mileage training schedule with weight training, circuit training, cycling and swimming. Sue also used Shoreline Physical Therapy’s Alter G Anti Gravity Treadmill once a week to supplement her training and give her body a rest from the harmful impact of street running. Sue wasn’t the only one in the Butler household to run that day. Sue’s husband Rich also ran during the festival, completing the full marathon in Key West as well. Sue and Rich have 2 beautiful children, Rob and Emma. Rob is a sophomore at North Carolina State University and Emma is currently a senior at Ashley High School. Along with running, weight training and cycling, Sue’s hobbies include stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, and walking her dogs.
