I am proud to say that WE, the Southeastern Province is in a GREAT place and will continue to lead the way with excellence while following the 34th Administration theme, Brother to Brother, Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges. As a region, we will continue to follow him as he leads us. I stand here today to let the body of Brothers know that we are in this together. We will support the vision of the Grand Polemarch. We will continue to be great. We will operate in transparency and with excellence. We will bring undergraduates back on the yard. We will develop our leaders. We will be accountable. We will communicate and receive feedback. We will be sustainable. We will be financially solvent. And we will do this together! WE can only do this together. NOT ME, NOT YOU, BUT US! Because This Belongs to Us. This…the Southeastern Province, Kappa Alpha Psi, our Chapters, our brotherhood. Belongs to Us…We own it. We will protect it. We will cultivate it. We will safeguard it. It is Ours. The Achievers, the Nupes, the strong, stalwart solid brothers of the Southeastern Province.
The Southeastern Province will celebrate our Centennial Anniversary in 2026. In recognition of our Centennial Anniversary, yesterday, the Board of Directors accepted a recommendation to reinstate the Province Life Membership Program for a limited time. This time-limited initiative will be called, Race to the Centennial, and will allow a maximum of 100 brothers to purchase a Province Life Membership from 2022 to 2026 in honor of the Southeastern Province’s 100th Anniversary. I have asked the Finance Committee to work out all financial details and logistical matters so that we can share them with the brothers and begin the enrollment period in the next few months. Brothers, we heard your feedback to reinstate the program. The program will be for a limited time to ensure the Province remains financially solvent. When the Finance Committee finishes their work and gives us the green-light, let’s do the Race to the Centennial because This Belongs to Us.
I am often asked “Brother Mock, how are we, the Southeastern Province doing?”
This Belongs to Us!
