Although protocol has previously been established, I would like to personally bring greetings to our Senior Grand Vice Polemarch, Attorney Robert L. Jenkins, Jr., the 32nd Grand Polemarch, Attorney William “Randy” Bates, Jr.; the 33rd Grand Polemarch, Thomas L. Battles, Jr; Grand Board Member, Jwyanza B. Watt; my “sands” on the Council of Province Polemarchs Northern Province Polemarch, Michael Kinloch; Past Southeastern Province Polemarchs, on whose shoulders I stand today: 17th Province Polemarch Melvin T. Solomon; the 20th Province Polemarch, Preston Smith; 22nd Province Polemarch, Chester Leaks; 23rd Province Polemarch, James E. Freeman; 24th Province Polemarch, Solomon S. Bradley; 25th Province Polemarch, Lawrence H. Davis, Jr.; and 26th Province Polemarch Atty. E. Delane Rosemond, I; To All Grand Chapter Committee Chairmen and Appointees; To the Southeastern Province Board of Directors and Officers; To All Joseph R. Jenkins Awardees; To All Province Committee Chairmen and Appointees; To the Host Chapters of the LoCK: The Low Country Coalition of Kappa represented by Beaufort-Jasper-Hilton Head, Charleston, Monks Corner, Walterboro, Eta Iota and Omicron Mu. Thank you for your steadfast efforts and hospitality to ensure we have a successful Province Council, and to brothers all. Thank you for traveling across the province to join us as we celebrate this 98th Province Council! We dedicate this council to the life and the legacy of our beloved brother Ed Swain, Jr., who joined the Chapter Invisible earlier this year. His contributions have led to the foundation of how we operate today. I want to continue in the same vein of honoring our own, as we’ve made the efforts to invite those brothers in Kappa’s highest level of leadership to share with us at our events. In doing so, we are joined by our Senior Grand Vice Polemarch, Attorney Robert L. Jenkins, Jr. Thank you, Brother Senior, for your willingness to come to your home area of Charleston, S,C and share with us.
