Compliance - We are still working through ways to continue to push the completion of timely certification and program documentation. We were trending upwards of 90% two years in a row, but this year we were below 70% by the deadline. Brothers, it is absolutely imperative that we complete certification and program documentation by the deadline. This deadline is in place to ensure we remain compliant with Grand Chapter and Province requirements and obligations. Not doing so puts our fraternity, which we love, at risk. And if “this belongs to Us”, we must work to not put our chapters and fraternity in a place of vulnerability. In addition, we have a few chapters that continue to be challenged in the process of Event Checklists. Our newly restructured communications team will assist with this. In addition, our touchpoints with Brother Jason Hall (as we have set up meetings with him) will also move the needle. What are our new initiatives and programs coming in the future? As we move into our centennial year, we’re excited about the following: History Book: A total reproduction of our province's history book with new and updated content will happen under the direction of Dr. Christopher E. Johnson, Province Historian. Centennial Documentary: Brother Shaheen Solomon (Carrollton - Douglasville) has been tapped to lead the effort to chronicle our time from 1926 until now, working with Dr. Johnson to gather content.
He will also be leaning on our Past Province Polemarchs to obtain accounts of their era in the seat. This project will be captured in a new video documentary. Lastly, to cap off our final year before the centennial, we have begun the conversation with the Southern Province to organize a joint C. Roger Wilson Leadership Conference in 2025, which signifies us entering into our 100th and the Southern entering into their 75th. As we have known our platform to be “This Belongs To Us,” we will turn our attention to 2026. Therefore, we will gear up for the Centennial Year! We will embody this and build it into the new century of the Southeast. We will focus on the above announcements and call our new platform,
OPERATION 100! Cheers to Operation 100! Thank you, Brothers of the Southeast! This is the state of the province!
