COUNCIL OF PAST PROVINCE POLEMARCHS ARTICLE VIII COUNCIL OF PAST PROVINCE POLEMARCHS Section 1. There shall be a Council of Past Province Polemarchs composed of all living Southeastern Province Polemarchs. Section 2. The Council of Past Province Polemarchs shall hold at least one (1) meeting during each Province Council, and at such other times as may be requested. Section 3. The Council of Past Province Polemarchs shall – (i) advise the current Province Polemarch on requested matters of concern, (ii) advise the Province Board on requested matters of concern. This province thanks the 26 brothers who have served in the role of Province Polemarch. The 25th Administration thought it was fitting to introduce changes in the province’s bylaws to recognize and assemble the living members who sat in the seat of Province Polemarch. This group is to have a standing meeting at every Province Council to discuss their view on the state of the province. This meeting should produce a document with recommendations. Section 4. The Council of Past Province Polemarchs shall elect from among its members a chairman, and a secretary to oversee and record official minutes of its meetings. EXCERPT FROM THE SE PROVINCE BYLAWS
