2025: A Historic Reconnection
Fast forward to 2025, and history comes full circle.
Province Polemarchs Brian C. Mock (Southeastern) and Jason M. Jones, Esq. (Southern)—both visionary leaders—recognized that the confluence of two milestone anniversaries presented an extraordinary opportunity. Their decision to hold a joint C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference is not only a practical step toward unified leadership training but also a commemorative gesture, acknowledging the legacy of partition and the enduring bond that ties the provinces together. This joint conference will: Celebrate 100 years of the Southeastern Province and 75 years of the current Southern Province configuration. Reflect on the legacy of leaders such as W. Dickerson Donnelly, Frank M. Summers, and Toussaint L. Hale, who helped shape the transition in 1950–1951. Reinforce the Fraternity’s core values of achievement, brotherhood, and service through high-quality leadership development. Serve as a model of interprovincial collaboration for future generations of Kappa men. What to Expect The 2025 Joint CRWLC will offer: Specialized officer training for both undergraduate and alumni brothers. Panel discussions on the history and impact of provincial restructuring in Kappa Alpha Psi. A commemorative program highlighting the shared heritage and future trajectory of the Southeastern and Southern Provinces. Opportunities for networking, mentoring, and the continued development of achievement in every field of human endeavor. A Legacy Continued As the Southeastern and Southern Provinces come together in 2025, this conference stands not merely as an operational event but as a living monument to the vision, courage, and foresight of those who came before. Through this act of unity, the provinces reaffirm a shared legacy while equipping future leaders to carry the torch forward. As history is remembered and new bonds are forged, the 2025 Joint C. Rodger Wilson Leadership Conference will stand as a testament to what’s possible when tradition meets collaboration, and brotherhood meets purpose.
Let this gathering be not just a moment, but a movement.
