With profound grief, we inform Lincoln Hospital Community of the sad and untimely passing of Dr Vasily Stankovich. Dr Stankovich had a distinguished career at Lincoln Hospital for the last 15 years as a Generalist Obstetrician and Gynecologist. He passed away on April 22,2024 while on a medical leave. He will be remembered by his countless patients as a caring and kind physician who brought smiles to their face. Our many residents who graduated in the last 15 years remember him as a thorough and compassionate teacher and physician. His colleagues will remember him forever as a gentle, kind, humorous and loving person. Many staff members remember him from the walk to the subway station and the subway rides when they had interesting conversations with him. He was everyone’s friend! We will miss you Vasily and will always carry your memory in our hearts! May your soul Rest in Peace!
