OUR HISTORY
Even in our very early years, FIT was developing a ‘make it better’ culture. From 2008-2011 the Tanova range underwent an intensive redevelopment process, with bins and buckets now sourced from a premium manufacturer in Italy.
Rapid growth brought with it a need for greater space. Having outgrown the Maungaturoto premises in just two years, in 2012- 2013 Access Group moved to new, much larger facility in Wellsford.
During 2011 and 2012 a drawer system range was taken on, kickstarting a new redevelopment of the Tanova system to form a complete kitchen waste bin solution.
In 2005, the Boakes brothers purchased a small hardware business in Auckland. Access Joinery Supplies was born!

In 2012 Access Joinery Supplies rebranded to become Access Group. Not only did the Access Group range expand to include profiles, fasteners, connectors and hinges from internationally recognised brands, but locally we developed a small, brand new Tanova laundry range. The Tanova laundry range launched in February
2010 saw the first of several moves as Access Joinery Supplies outgrew our premises and moved to a new facility in Maungaturoto.
Just 2 years later, in 2007, came the purchase of a small business manufacturing a simple kitchen bin system; the Tanova concept was launched!
2012 was a New Zealand first and, we believe, a global first too!
