What’s Going On, Boston? From Festivals to Foodie Delights
BOSTON CALLING MUSIC FESTIVAL If you have an ear for music, then you will not want to miss the headliners at the Boston Calling Music Festival from May 24–26, when Ed Sheeran, Tyler Childers, and The Killers will take center stage. The festival also features comedy, food and alcohol vendors, and an array of as-yet- unannounced attractions. Tickets are available for just one day of the festival or, for those who want to see all the star attractions, all three! WHALE WATCHING CRUISES Are you interested in seeing some of the biggest creatures on earth up close? Then, you may want to book your ticket on a Boston Whale Watching Cruise, with the first of the season leaving Boston Harbor on May 16. Celebrate summer with a splash on a sightseeing voyage rife with dolphins, whales, harbor islands, and iconic New England lighthouses.
THE GREAT GATSBY Do you have a penchant for classic American literature and theatrical extravaganzas? Then, the American Repertory Theater’s summer stage show “Gatsby: An American Myth” may be the perfect summer escape for you! Staged and choreographed by Tony Award- winning phenoms Rachel Chavkin and Sonya Tayeh, you can enjoy this production weekly, every day but Monday, and runs from May 23 to July 21! GHOSTS AND GRAVESTONES TOUR For those with an air for the esoteric, the Ghosts and Gravestones Tour will delight with its tour of Boston’s cemeteries and haunted locales. With tours happening at 6 p.m. every night, there is no shortage of opportunities for a hauntingly good time!
